WHITSON EMORY

Strategist & Field Strategy Consultant

Whitson is the Field Strategy Consultant for Red Koi Strategies, and brings extensive experience in political consulting, grassroots organizing, and campaign execution across the country. Born and raised in "the mountains" of Louisiana, as his Grandfather would say, Whitson has traveled the country since 2018, working on-the-ground in 11 different states and remote management into many others. He has spent his political career building networks of field teams for principled conservatives. This experience allows him not only craft the winning message, deliver effective targeting, build operation canvassing teams, but deliver victorious results. Whitson also has developed an extensive network across the country at every level of the political ladder, from municipal to presidential.

His political career began crossing the country twice over in 2018, bringing him to the Commonwealth for the first time. After returning home for a state house and senate campaign in Louisiana, he then traveled to Georgia, Texas, and Pennsylvania, before a historic victory in 2021 with Governor Glenn Youngkin of Virginia, Whitson earned a spot on the map. From there, he would go on to leading a field team and an advance team for a gubernatorial in Georgia, to managing the field operations for a congressional in Arizona, and eventually managing the operations and field teams of a nationally recognized canvassing firm out of Nebraska, Fox Bryant.

After meeting his now-girlfriend in Virginia in 2023, he moved back to the East Coast for the first time since 2021 and was Deputy Campaign Manager for State Senator Emily Jordan, who won a district by 5 points that Republicans normally lose by 5 points in. In 2024, after working on the US Senate race in the Primary, Whitson led a team of over 200 volunteers in the central Shenandoah Valley for President Donald J. Trump's "Trump Force 47" team. Last year, Whitson worked 52 counties in Virginia from Page to Lee County, including helping all three of the Statewide candidates, and winning a House of Delegates Primary by 36 points in his first role as Campaign Manager.

The field and political management experience that Whitson brings to the table from Arizona to Virginia helps secure victory for Red Koi Strategies' clients by making the most productive and effective voter contacts. Outside of politics, he is a diehard fan of LSU Football, the New England Patriots, and a Formula 1 enthusiast. Whitson lives in Charlottesville, Virginia, with his girlfriend Sarah and his loyal campaign dog, Miso. He loves spending time with his friends and family, and - if he's not working - can be found cooking something Cajun in the kitchen.
